Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week Nov. 19-25
Ontario has designated the week beginning on the third Sunday of November as Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week to help promote safe schools and a positive learning environment.
During Bullying Awareness and Prevention Week, Ontario students, school staff and parents are encouraged to learn more about bullying and its effect on student learning and well-being. Schools are encouraged to use this opportunity to explain the different forms that bullying can take.
Bishop Tonnos students will participate in a variety of bullying awareness and preventative activities that promote kindness and overall well-being i.e., positive messaging activities, reflective prayers and promotional videos, Kahoots, community building activities, etc. Our goal is to make awareness and prevention a part of the good work we do at Bishop Tonnos all year long...not just this week!
